U1+ Technical Snapshot
Key charging specifications and battery compatibility of the EV-PEAK U1+ single-channel UAV battery charger.
The EV-PEAK U1+ automatically recognizes connected UAV batteries to simplify daily charging operations.
For standard LiPo and LiHV UAV batteries, the charger automatically detects the battery cell count and voltage. For compatible smart UAV batteries, battery information is read through communication with the battery BMS.
After battery recognition, the detected information is shown on the charger display. The charger then enters a countdown before charging starts automatically, without requiring the user to manually enter the battery cell count or voltage. The countdown duration may vary depending on the connected battery and communication protocol.
Configuration Note:
Communication protocol should be confirmed according to the battery BMS and application requirements before ordering.
Compatibility Note:
Verify the AS150U charging connector and MX3.0 balance-port pinout before connecting a battery to the U1+.
If your battery interface differs from the information above, contact EV-PEAK to confirm compatibility before use.
The EV-PEAK U1+ includes multiple protection functions to support safe and stable UAV battery charging.
The EV-PEAK U1+ features an LCD display that shows key charging information in real time during operation.
Charging mode, charging current, battery voltage, charging time and battery capacity can be viewed directly on the screen, helping operators monitor the charging process clearly.
The EV-PEAK U1+ uses an aluminum-alloy housing and active fan cooling to support stable operation during high-power UAV battery charging.
The rear cooling fan helps remove heat generated during charging, while the aluminum housing supports heat dissipation and provides a durable enclosure for regular field operation.
Common questions about EV-PEAK U1+ charging performance, battery compatibility, communication and interfaces.
1. What batteries are compatible with the EV-PEAK U1+?
The EV-PEAK U1+ supports 6S–14S UAV batteries, including standard LiPo, LiHV and compatible smart UAV batteries. Battery connector, balance-port pinout and communication compatibility should be confirmed before use.
2. What is the maximum charging power of the U1+?
The U1+ provides up to 1200W charging power at AC 220V input. At AC 110V input, the available charging power is approximately 600W.
3. What is the maximum charging current?
The maximum charging current is 25A in FAST mode. The U1+ also provides NORMAL mode at 20A and SLOW mode at 10A.
4. Is the U1+ a single-channel or multi-channel charger?
The U1+ is a single-channel UAV battery charger with one dedicated charging output. It is designed for charging one connected UAV battery through the main charging channel.
5. Does the U1+ automatically recognize the battery?
Yes. For standard LiPo and LiHV UAV batteries, the U1+ automatically detects the battery cell count and voltage. For compatible smart UAV batteries, battery information is read through communication with the battery BMS.
6. Does charging start automatically after battery recognition?
Yes. After the connected battery is recognized, battery information is shown on the LCD display and the charger enters a countdown before charging starts automatically. The countdown duration may vary depending on the battery and communication protocol.
7. What smart battery communication protocols are available?
The standard U1+ configuration supports UAVCAN communication. DroneCAN can be configured for compatible battery systems, and custom RS485 communication can be provided according to specific battery BMS and project requirements.
8. What charging and balance connectors does the U1+ use?
The U1+ uses an AS150U main charging connector and an MX3.0 balance connector for compatible 6S–14S UAV battery systems. Connector and balance-port pinout compatibility should be verified before charging.
9. What protection functions are built into the U1+?
The U1+ includes over-charge, over-voltage, over-current, reverse polarity, short-circuit and over-temperature protection.
