HIGH-VOLTAGE POWER

Why 1500W Matters as Battery Voltage Rises

Higher battery voltage requires more wattage to maintain the same charging current. U3 Neo is engineered with enough output power to support high-current charging across demanding 6S, 7S and 8S applications.

SINGLE-CHANNEL EXAMPLE
8S × 4.5V/cell = 36V
36V × 40A = 1440W
With up to 1500W rated charging power on 220V AC input, the U3 Neo power architecture can support up to 40A single-channel charging even at the highest supported 8S charge-voltage setting.

DUAL-CHANNEL EXAMPLE
8S × 4.5V/cell = 36V
36V × 20A = 720W
During dual-channel charging on 220V AC input, up to 750W is available per channel—sufficient rated power to support up to 20A per channel across the supported 8S voltage range.

Examples above are based on 220V AC input and compatible batteries capable of accepting the selected charging current. On 110V AC input, maximum total charging power is approximately 750W.

SMART CHARGING WORKFLOW

Automatic Charging with Saved Settings

LiPo is the default battery type on U3 Neo. After a compatible battery is connected, the charger begins a countdown using the current or previously saved charging settings. If no parameters are changed, charging starts automatically when the countdown finishes.

STEP 01
Connect the Battery

Connect a compatible battery and U3 Neo automatically starts the charging countdown using the current saved setup.

STEP 02
Automatic Start

If no settings are changed during the countdown, charging begins automatically when the countdown is complete.

STEP 03
Adjust When Needed

Battery type, charging current and other applicable parameters can be adjusted during the countdown. After making changes, press and hold the charging button to begin charging.

STEP 04
Settings Are Remembered

The updated charging settings are saved for the next session, so the same battery setup can use the remembered parameters without repeated configuration.

Always verify the battery type, cell count and charging parameters when connecting a new or different battery setup.

Key answers about battery compatibility, charging power, high-current operation, charge-voltage settings and battery maintenance.

What battery cell counts does the U3 Neo support?
U3 Neo supports compatible 2S through 8S battery packs, including 2S, 3S, 4S, 5S, 6S, 7S and 8S configurations. It supports LiPo, LiHV and LiFe batteries.

Can the U3 Neo charge 7S batteries?
Yes. U3 Neo natively supports 7S battery systems as part of its full 2S–8S range, including 25.9V nominal 7S LiPo batteries used in professional drones, custom UAV platforms and large FPV applications.

Can the U3 Neo charge 8S batteries?
Yes. U3 Neo supports compatible 8S battery systems and is particularly well suited to high-capacity 8S batteries used in large FPV, cinelifters, professional drones and other high-voltage battery applications.

What is the maximum charging current of the U3 Neo?
When charging one compatible battery, U3 Neo can provide up to 40A. When both channels are used simultaneously, each channel can provide up to 20A. Full high-current capability depends on AC input power, battery voltage and the charging current accepted by the battery.

Can the U3 Neo charge two batteries at the same time?
Yes. U3 Neo is a dual-channel charger and can charge two compatible batteries simultaneously. On 220V AC input, dual-channel operation provides up to 20A and up to 750W per channel.

Does the U3 Neo provide 1500W charging power on 110V AC?
No. Maximum total charging power is up to 1500W on 220V AC input. On 110V AC input, maximum total charging power is approximately 750W.
