What batteries are compatible with the EV-PEAK UD2-100?

The UD2-100 supports 20S–24S LiPo, LiHV and intelligent UAV batteries. It is particularly suited to 24S high-voltage battery systems used in professional UAV applications.

Is the UD2-100 designed for 24S UAV batteries?

Yes. Although the supported battery range is 20S–24S, 24S battery systems are a primary application of the UD2-100, including large agricultural UAVs, heavy-lift drones, cargo UAVs and other high-voltage platforms.

Can the UD2-100 charge two batteries at the same time?

Yes. The UD2-100 has two independent charging channels and can charge two batteries simultaneously. During dual-channel charging, the maximum charging current is up to 25A per channel, subject to the charger’s available output power and battery conditions.

What is the maximum charging current of the UD2-100?

The maximum charging current is 35A in single-channel operation. When two batteries are charged simultaneously, each channel can provide up to 25A. Actual charging current also depends on battery voltage, charging mode and available charger output power.

What are the Slow, Normal and Fast charging modes?

The UD2-100 provides three selectable charging modes: Slow — 15A, Normal — 25A and Fast — 35A.

What output power does the UD2-100 provide at 110V and 220V input?

Maximum output power is 3000W at 220V input. At 110V input, maximum available output power is approximately 1500W.

Does the UD2-100 automatically recognize and start charging the battery?

Yes. After a compatible battery is connected, the UD2-100 automatically recognizes the battery and starts a countdown. Charging begins automatically when the countdown is complete.

Which communication protocols does the UD2-100 support?

The UD2-100 uses UAVCAN as the default smart battery communication protocol. DroneCAN can be configured, while RS485 is available as a custom option.
