Built for Smart UAV Batteries
Designed for 14S–18S LiPo and LiHV smart UAV batteries with integrated BMS communication.
Frequently Asked Questions
What batteries are compatible with the EV-PEAK UD4?
UD4 is designed for compatible 14S–18S LiPo and LiHV smart UAV batteries with BMS communication.
Can UD4 charge two batteries at the same time?
Yes. UD4 has two charging channels and can charge one battery or two batteries simultaneously.
What is the maximum charging current of UD4?
UD4 supports up to 80A when charging one battery. When two batteries are charged simultaneously, the maximum charging current is up to 40A per channel.
What is the maximum output power of UD4?
UD4 provides up to 6000W total output at AC 220V input. At AC 110V input, maximum output is reduced to approximately 3000W.
What charging modes does UD4 support?
UD4 provides three charging modes: FAST 80A, NORMAL 60A and SLOW 30A.
Does UD4 automatically recognize smart batteries?
Yes. After a compatible smart UAV battery is connected, UD4 automatically recognizes the battery, enters a countdown and then starts charging automatically.
What communication protocols does UD4 support?
UAVCAN is the default smart battery communication protocol. DroneCAN can be configured according to compatible battery system requirements.
Does UD4 require a separate balance connector?
No. UD4 is designed for compatible smart UAV batteries and does not use a separate external balance connector.
Need Help Choosing the Right UAV Charger?
Share your battery cell count, capacity, required charging current,
number of batteries to be charged simultaneously, and communication
requirements. EV-PEAK can help you select the appropriate charging
solution for your UAV battery system.
For OEM and system-integration projects, custom communication
requirements, including RS485 integration, can also be discussed
